Paul Vizzavona

A French architect of Italian origin, Vizzavona left Paris in 1904 to settle in Brussels and worked with Victor Horta until 1914. His personal style is therefore very similar to that of the Master, despite a few touches that are more classical in appearance and his taste for mansard roofs and turrets, a very French predilection. Unfortunately, his relations with Victor Horta deteriorated when the latter sued him for plagiarism. It is believed that his return to France might have been motivated by this lawsuit.
