Aimable Delune

1866 — 1923
An employee in the Bridges and Roads Department as well as a surveyor and architect like three of his brothers (Ernest, Léon and Edmond), Aimable Delune was part of a family of architects who, by designing numerous buildings and complexes of various kinds, shaped the new neighbourhoods that sprang up in the south of Brussels in the early 20th century. Aimable and Léon sometimes worked on buildings in the same street, which has led to a number of misattributions.
