Building
This house is part of a beautiful collection of three houses (no. 7, no. 9 and no. 11) designed by the architect Henri Jacobs. These sophisticated façades are a testament to the attention to detail that the architect put into his work.

Jacobs built this house at the same time as his private home (no. 9). Overall, it stands out due to the uniform use of stone and its Neo-Renaissance details, with the exception of the sgraffiti decorations, which are recognisably Art Nouveau in style.
The house still retains its stained glass and sgraffiti decorations. The ground floor areas are organised around a large entrance hall decorated with a sgraffito frieze. The central staircase at the back of the hall is topped by a stained glass skylight with a floral motif.
